The Bettermaker Valve Stereo Passive Equalizer (VSPE) is a high-end audio processor that combines classic analog warmth with modern digital control. It features a fully analog passive equalizer design enhanced by vacuum tube and transformer circuitry, delivering a rich, warm sound characteristic of vintage equipment. The VSPE integrates seamlessly with digital audio workstations (DAWs) through a dedicated plugin, allowing for precise control, recall, and automation of all parameters.

• Custom Transformers and Tubes: Bettermaker has developed its own audio transformers and utilizes NOS military-spec tubes from the 1970s and 80s, known for their durability and low noise, to ensure high-quality sound reproduction. 

• Comprehensive EQ Controls: The equalizer provides low-frequency boost/cut at 20, 30, 60, and 100 Hz; high-frequency boost at 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, and 28 kHz with adjustable bandwidth; and high-frequency cut at 5, 10, and 20 kHz. 

• HEAT Function: This feature allows users to add warmth and rich harmonics to their audio by engaging the tube and transformer circuitry, enhancing the sonic character of the processed signal. 

• DAW Integration: The included plugin enables control and recall of all hardware settings within your DAW, offering additional features like high-quality digital high-pass and low-pass filters, a spectrum analyzer, session snapshots, dual-mono operation, audio level metering, and a quantize mode for precise adjustments.
